The Flenane is a close-fitting dome ceiling light, with a matt black steel exterior and a warm gold-leaf look to the interior. It is 28cm in diameter and 17.5cm high, so it sits neatly against the ceiling rather than hanging down into the room. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of brightness and colour temperature with you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Because it fits close to the ceiling, it is a good choice where headroom matters: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom or a living room with a lower ceiling, where a pendant would get in the way.
