Description

The Flavia is a 2-light wall fitting with an integrated switch, built around a polished chrome frame that holds two frosted glass shades on sweeping curved arms. Each shade combines a frosted outer layer with clear glass accents, and the fixture takes two G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). The switch sits on the backplate, allowing the light to be controlled at the fitting without needing a wall switch.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway accent lighting, and living room side walls where local switching is useful, the Flavia projects 130mm from the wall and spans 420mm vertically. The dual heads distribute light both upward and across the wall, producing ambient rather than task lighting. The compact 210mm width allows the fitting to sit comfortably on narrow wall sections between doorways or alongside mirrors.

The polished chrome finish provides high reflectivity, which works well in rooms with good natural light and pairs cleanly with modern or contemporary interiors. The frosted glass softens the G9 bulb light, reducing glare while the clear glass detail adds visual texture when the light is off. At 0.9kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard with standard wall fixings and can be dimmed when paired with dimmable G9 LED capsules and a compatible wall dimmer.

What bulbs does the Flavia take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W LED G9 capsules in warm white (2700K-3000K). Check the maximum wattage rating on the fixture label before fitting higher-wattage halogen G9 bulbs.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and controlled by a compatible wall dimmer. The integrated switch on the backplate does not provide dimming. It is an on/off rocker switch only.

Where is the integrated switch located?

The switch is on the metal backplate behind the chrome arms. It allows the light to be turned on and off at the fitting itself, which is useful for bedside installations or positions where a wall switch is not convenient.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 0.9kg the Flavia can be mounted on plasterboard using standard cavity wall plugs or directly into masonry with rawl plugs and screws. The backplate has two mounting holes and covers a standard circular junction box or surface-mounted terminal block.
