Description

The Flash is a compact wall light built around a faceted crystal cube set inside a cylindrical smoked glass outer shade, mounted on a chrome backplate. The G9 bulb sits within the crystal cube, which refracts light through its cut facets before it passes through the transparent outer cylinder, layering the light output with texture and depth. The chrome backplate measures 130mm square, and the total projection from the wall is 145mm.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms (IP20 rated for zones outside shower enclosures), dressing areas and either side of mirrors, the Flash works as accent lighting where space is limited but decorative impact is needed. The 10W G9 LED bulb included delivers 550lm output, providing functional task light at close range while the crystal and smoked glass combination softens the spread for ambient use. The fitting can be installed individually or in pairs flanking a feature.

The crystal cube is clear faceted glass showing sharp geometric edges under light, while the outer cylinder is moulded glass with a graduated smoke tone that darkens towards the top and bottom edges. The chrome backplate shows a bright polished finish. At 0.6kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard or masonry with the supplied fixings, and the G9 bulb is accessible by removing the outer glass cylinder for replacement.

Yes. The Flash includes a 10W G9 LED bulb rated at 550lm. The bulb is accessible by removing the outer glass cylinder, which lifts off the chrome backplate once the fitting is installed.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The Flash carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for bathroom zones outside direct spray or moisture zones. It can be installed above sinks or on walls away from shower enclosures, but not within zones 0, 1 or 2 as defined by UK bathroom lighting regulations.

What is the actual light colour?

The included G9 LED bulb typically delivers a warm white light around 2700K-3000K. Check the bulb packaging for the exact colour temperature, as this can vary between production batches.

How is the outer glass cylinder secured?

The smoked glass cylinder sits on the chrome backplate and is held in place by the pressure of the crystal cube assembly inside. To remove it for bulb replacement, gently lift the cylinder upwards once the light is switched off and cooled.
