Description

The Flare is a 6-light crystal chandelier built around a tiered gold metal frame hung with faceted smoked crystal prisms in varying lengths. The prisms are arranged in three concentric rows that cascade downwards, creating a cylindrical silhouette approximately 48.8cm in diameter. Each of the six E14 bulb positions sits within the crystal tiers, casting light through and around the faceted glass.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the chandelier's adjustable chain allows the drop to be set between 68.7cm and 154.2cm during installation. The minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceiling rooms when hung over a dining table or in the centre of a living space, while the maximum extension works in double-height hallways or rooms with vaulted ceilings. The gold metal canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The smoked crystal prisms show grey-brown tones when unlit and refract warm amber light when the bulbs are on, particularly when paired with warm-white E14 candle bulbs (sold separately, max 40W per bulb). The gold frame finish is a mid-tone brass colour with a slight sheen, warmer than polished brass but brighter than antique brass. The crystal prisms are faceted on multiple planes, creating the refraction and light scatter visible when the bulbs are lit. The smoked grey-brown tone of the glass becomes more apparent under daylight, while the facets catch and reflect warm amber light when the chandelier is switched on.

Can the Flare be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chandelier is designed for horizontal ceiling mounting. Installation on a sloped ceiling would require a separate angled ceiling rose adapter (not included) to ensure the chain hangs vertically and the crystal tiers remain level.
