Description
The Flara is a 29cm white metal LED wall light with an integrated 12.5W 3000K LED module built into a flat rectangular housing that mounts flush to the wall. The white powder-coated metal casing houses the LED driver and diffuser panel, projecting 90mm from the wall once installed. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor use only.
Designed for hallways, staircases, bedrooms and bathrooms (Zone 3, outside splash zones), the Flara provides directional ambient light along the wall surface. The 29cm length covers approximately one metre of horizontal wall when mounted at eye level, making it useful for corridor runs where multiple units can be installed at regular intervals. The fixture installs onto a standard wall box or surface-mount back plate and wires directly to the mains without requiring an external driver box.
The white finish is a smooth powder coat over steel, which resists minor knocks and scuffs better than painted plastic housings. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000-30,000 hours at 3000K warm white output. The flat profile and absence of visible bulbs or shades give the fitting a minimal footprint on the wall, sitting closer than traditional sconce-style wall lights.
The Flara is not dimmable. The 12.5W output produces approximately 1,000-1,200 lumens depending on the specific LED generation in the current production batch, which provides enough light for circulation spaces but is not designed as a primary room light. Multiple units can be installed on the same circuit where higher output is needed.

Frequently Asked
Can the LED be replaced?
No. The Flara uses an integrated LED module that is sealed into the housing during manufacture. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours, which equates to around 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 4-6 hours per day. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The IP20 rating means the Flara is suitable for bathrooms only in Zone 3 areas, which are outside the direct splash zones around baths, showers and basins. It cannot be installed directly above or adjacent to a bath or shower enclosure. For wet zones, an IP44 or IP65-rated fitting is required.
What's the light output?
The 12.5W LED produces approximately 1,000-1,200 lumens at 3000K warm white. This is sufficient for hallways, staircases and circulation spaces, but is not designed as a primary light source for larger rooms like living rooms or kitchens.
How is it installed?
The Flara mounts directly to a standard UK wall box or surface-mount back plate via a bracket on the rear of the housing. The mains cable connects inside the fixture via a terminal block, and the fitting is then secured to the wall with two screws. No external driver box is needed.
