Description

This fixed bezel fits Knightsbridge SpektroLED Evo fire-rated downlights, providing a 90mm steel trim ring in matt black that sits flush to the ceiling surface. The bezel attaches magnetically to the downlight body, eliminating the need for screw fixings or clips and allowing the trim to be removed for redecorating or maintenance without disturbing the wiring.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where a matt black finish is needed to match door hardware, wall switches, or architectural metalwork, the bezel creates a defined edge around the downlight aperture. The 4mm depth keeps the profile minimal on standard plasterboard ceilings, while the steel construction provides rigidity to prevent warping or sagging over time.

The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, making the bezel less visible on dark ceilings and providing a clean monochrome accent on white or light-coloured ceilings. The magnetic attachment means the bezel can be swapped for a different finish (white, brushed chrome, polished chrome) without changing the downlight itself, giving flexibility to update the room's appearance without rewiring.

This bezel is designed specifically for Knightsbridge SpektroLED Evo fire-rated downlights. It attaches magnetically to the downlight body and will not fit other downlight models or brands without compatible magnetic mounting.

Can the bezel be changed after installation?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the bezel to be removed and swapped for a different finish (white, brushed chrome, polished chrome) without disturbing the downlight wiring or ceiling cut-out. This is useful when redecorating or updating the room's colour scheme.

Does the bezel affect the downlight's fire rating?

No. The bezel is a cosmetic trim component. The fire rating is provided by the downlight body itself and the fire hood fitted above the ceiling. Changing the bezel does not alter the fire-rating performance.
