This wooden bottle opener carries a fishing pun with a grin in it: REEL MEN DRINK BEER, in black lettering down a board of light natural wood. The first word stands in heavy bold capitals and the rest follow in finer, widely spaced letters, so the joke lands at a glance. Beneath the words swims a small raised fish in blue-grey and white with dark fins. At the top, a round silver-toned opener plate is held by two screws, ready to lift a crown cap. The board is a rectangle with softly rounded ends, 17cm tall, 6cm wide and just 0.5cm deep.

Because it is magnetic, it can live on the fridge door or any other metal surface close to where the bottles are kept. That keeps it to hand rather than lost in a cutlery drawer.
