Description

The Firenze is a 5-light chandelier built around a central column of turned and carved resin detailing, finished in antique gold with brushed nickel candle sleeves. Five curved arms extend from the central body, each terminating in a turned candle cup that accepts an E14 bulb (sold separately). The frame measures 550mm across and 410mm high from the base of the body to the top finial, not including the chain drop.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Firenze suits traditional, French provincial and classical interiors where decorative detailing is part of the design language. The chandelier hangs from a matching gold-finished canopy and chain that conceals the cable run. When fitted with dimmable E14 LED candle bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer, the light output can be adjusted from full brightness for entertaining to low ambient for evening use.

The resin frame is lighter than a comparable cast brass or wrought iron chandelier, making installation on standard ceiling joists straightforward without needing reinforcement. The antique gold finish over the resin has a matte, aged quality rather than a high-polish look, which softens the visual weight of the frame and reduces glare from reflected light. Each candle sleeve is nickel-plated metal seated into the resin arms, providing a stable mount for the bulb and a clean contrast against the gold body.

The Firenze takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit candle-style LED bulbs between 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the traditional aesthetic of the frame.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Not all E14 LEDs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before purchasing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 410mm body height plus chain drop typically works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. For dining tables, position the chandelier so the base of the frame sits approximately 750-900mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height around 2.7m minimum.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the chandelier is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry indoor environments away from direct water exposure.
