The Firenze is a 3 light outdoor lamp post in black aluminium with three downward-facing lantern heads, each housing an E27 socket for bulbs up to 60W. The post stands 1930-2560mm tall depending on ground installation depth, with three swan-neck arms extending 770mm from the central column. An IP54 rating protects the lamp heads from rain and dust, making the Firenze suitable for front gardens, driveways and pathway lighting year-round.

Designed for residential and commercial outdoor lighting, the Firenze anchors to concrete foundations or paving with a base plate (installation by qualified electrician required). The three-light configuration spreads illumination across an 800mm width, covering gateway entrances, driveway turns and garden path junctions where a single overhead light would leave dark pockets. The black finish is powder-coated aluminium, resistant to corrosion from salt air and garden sprinkler systems.

Each lantern head holds a clear glass panel that protects the bulb while allowing light to project downward and outward. The swan-neck curve on each arm references traditional Victorian street lighting but with simplified geometry that works in both period and contemporary settings. The adjustable height allows the post to be set higher in open front gardens (2400-2560mm) or lower beside pathways where overhead clearance matters (1930-2200mm). What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP54 means the lamp heads are protected from dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. This makes the Firenze suitable for British weather including rain, but not for submersion or direct pressure-washing. The rating covers the lamp heads; the post column itself is sealed aluminium.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

Each of the three lamp heads takes one E27 bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED filament bulbs at 6-10W and 2700K for a warm traditional glow, or higher-output LEDs at 15-20W for security lighting on driveways.

How is the height adjusted during installation?

The post is supplied in sections that stack together, allowing the installer to set the final height between 1930mm and 2560mm by adjusting how deep the base section is sunk into the ground foundation. A qualified electrician should complete the installation and electrical connection.

Can it be installed on existing paving or does it need a new foundation?

The Firenze requires either a concrete foundation poured to receive the base plate, or a pre-existing base of sufficient depth and stability. It cannot be surface-mounted to thin paving slabs. The base plate dimensions and fixing bolt pattern are in the installation guide supplied with the fitting.
