Description

The Fiore is a 2-light crystal wall light with an integrated on/off switch, built around a circular polished chrome backplate. Two curved arms extend from the backplate, each wrapped in hand-stitched crystal cloth and capped with a polished chrome sconce holding an E14 bulb fitting. Faceted Asfour crystal droplets hang from each arm, refracting light from the bulbs above.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where wall-mounted task or ambient light is needed with convenient switch access at arm level, the Fiore sits 190mm proud of the wall and spans 260mm wide. The integrated rocker switch on the backplate removes the need to walk to a door switch or rely on a pull cord, making it practical for bedside reading positions or hallway entry points. The two E14 fittings accept candle or golf ball bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately).

The crystal cloth wrapping each arm is hand-applied — hundreds of small crystal beads stitched onto a black fabric backing, then wrapped around the metal frame. This gives a textured, almost beaded appearance under direct light, contrasting with the smooth polished chrome backplate and sconces. The Asfour crystal droplets are precision-cut faceted glass, designed to catch and refract light when the bulbs are on. At 1kg fitted weight, the Fiore requires a solid wall fixing into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone.

Is the Fiore dimmable?

The fitting itself has no built-in dimming — dimming depends entirely on the bulbs used. If you fit dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and control them via a compatible wall dimmer on the circuit, the light output will dim. The integrated switch on the backplate is on/off only.

What bulbs does it take?

Two E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair the Fiore with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting.

Can it be fitted to plasterboard walls?

At 1kg fitted weight plus the leverage of the 190mm projection, the Fiore needs solid fixing into masonry or timber studs. Plasterboard-only fixing with cavity fixings is not recommended unless backed by a timber batten or metal reinforcement plate behind the board.

How is the crystal cloth cleaned?

The crystal cloth is hand-stitched fabric with beads. Dust it gently with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. Avoid water or chemical sprays, which can stain the fabric backing or loosen the stitching. The polished chrome and crystal droplets can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth if needed.
