Description

The Fermi is a 30cm dome pendant light combining a polished gold metal upper hemisphere with a clear glass lower section housing a cascade of cut crystal droplets. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the dome, casting light down through the clear glass and reflecting off the crystals to produce a scatter of bright points across the surrounding space. The gold dome reflects light upward onto the ceiling rose.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Fermi's 36-105cm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set at the correct height for a given ceiling. The 30cm diameter provides presence without overwhelming a typical 1.2-1.8m table width, and the polished gold finish pairs with warm-toned wood, brass fixtures and neutral wall colours. The clear glass band and crystal droplets add decorative detail visible from eye level when seated at a table.

The polished gold finish on the metal dome produces high reflectivity and works best in rooms where the gold tone can be echoed in other fixtures or soft furnishings. The crystal droplets hang on thin wires inside the lower glass section, creating movement and sparkle when light refracts through the faceted surfaces. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior spaces only. The pendant accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose light colour and intensity.

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is suitable for dry interior spaces only and should not be installed in bathrooms, outdoor areas or any location exposed to moisture.

How is the polished gold finish maintained?

Wipe the gold dome with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal and do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes that could scratch the polished surface.
