Description

The Felix is a 26cm LED picture light with an antique brass tubular body, double-arched mounting bracket and integrated 2.5W 3000K LED strip. The light bar projects 180mm from the wall on its arched arms, positioning the LED strip directly above smaller artworks, photographs or decorative frames to cast downward illumination across the surface.

Designed for paintings, prints and framed photographs between 30-50cm wide, the Felix works in home galleries, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where smaller artworks need dedicated lighting without installing ceiling spots. The 180mm projection keeps the light bar clear of ornate frames while placing the LED close enough to the artwork to minimise shadow from the frame edge. The rectangular mounting plate fixes to the wall above the frame centre, with the weight of the fitting distributed across two fixing points.

The antique brass finish is brushed rather than polished, giving a soft satin appearance that reduces glare under daylight and pairs well with both traditional gilt frames and modern black or natural wood frames. The integrated LED is rated at 2.5W and 3000K, producing a warm white output that maintains colour accuracy in oil paintings and watercolours without the cooler blue cast of higher colour temperatures. The fitting carries IP20 rating for indoor use and a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.
