Description

This stoneware mug carries the words feelin' spooky in black gothic lettering across a white glazed body, with a silhouetted Halloween scene running all the way round. Bats wheel over bare, twisting trees, a haunted house with lit windows stands beside a picket fence, and crosses and gravestones rise from a black band at the base, where a black cat with an arched back hides among the stones. The inside of the mug and the handle are black as well, so the white and black look carries through from the rim to the base. It stands about 10cm tall, 12cm wide and 8cm deep.

We like it for the weeks leading up to Halloween. Use it for a morning tea or coffee, set it out on the kitchen dresser with your seasonal decorations, or bring it out on the sofa for a scary film night. The black and white design sits well with plain white crockery, so it never looks out of place in the cupboard once October is over. As a Halloween gift it is easy to wrap and fun to open, and there is room inside to tuck a few sweets or a sachet of hot chocolate for a trick or treat surprise.
