Description

The Falmouth is a wall light with a heart-shaped polished gold frame supporting a cylindrical white fabric shade. The frame curves from a circular wall plate into a sweeping heart outline, with the shade mounted at the apex. The light contains both a 3W G9 LED bulb (included) inside the shade and a 1W integrated LED accent (also included) at 3000K, combining ambient and decorative illumination.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and bathrooms, the Falmouth carries an IP44 rating, meaning it resists splashing from any direction and can be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3. The 424mm height and 164mm projection suit alcoves beside mirrors, along hallway runs, or either side of a bed headboard. The polished gold finish reflects surrounding light without creating harsh glare, while the white shade diffuses the bulb inside to avoid direct view of the lamp.

The heart-shaped frame gives the Falmouth a traditional-leaning decorative profile that pairs with classical and country-house interiors. The gold metalwork is sealed polished brass-effect, not solid brass, keeping the weight manageable for plasterboard fixing. The white fabric shade measures approximately 180mm diameter and can be gently cleaned with a dry microfibre cloth. The G9 bulb is user-replaceable if you prefer a different colour temperature or brightness, though the integrated 1W LED accent is not field-replaceable.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating means the fitting resists splashing from any direction and is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It cannot be installed in zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower enclosure) or zone 0 (inside a shower or bath).

Are the bulbs replaceable?

The 3W G9 LED bulb inside the shade is user-replaceable if you wish to change the colour temperature or brightness. The 1W integrated LED accent within the gold frame is not field-replaceable.

What is the light output?

The G9 bulb provides 300 lumens and the integrated LED provides 70 lumens, totaling 370 lumens at 3000K. This is enough for accent and ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, but not sufficient as the sole light source in a large bathroom.

How is the white shade cleaned?

The fabric shade can be gently dusted with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush. Avoid wetting the fabric, as moisture can leave staining or alter the texture.
