Description

The Fad is a 145cm matt black floor lamp with two adjustable LED heads mounted on a single column, each housing an integrated LED behind a matt acrylic diffuser. Each head rotates 340° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing both lights to be directed independently towards a reading position, a desk surface, or up onto a wall as ambient wash light. The combined 12W LED output runs at 3000K warm white.

Designed for reading corners, home offices and bedside use, the Fad provides directed task lighting without requiring a fixed ceiling fitting or multiple table lamps. The dual-head configuration means one light can be angled for close reading while the second provides background fill, or both can be directed to the same surface for higher lux levels. The circular base measures 28.3cm diameter, giving stability on bare floors and short-pile rugs without needing to be weighted or wall-fixed.

The matt black finish on the metal frame minimises reflections under daylight and pairs cleanly with contemporary and minimalist interiors. The acrylic diffusers soften the LED output, reducing glare when the heads are angled towards eye level. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer on the circuit, allowing output to be reduced for evening use. The IP20 rating limits this to dry indoor use only.
