Description

The Facette is a 50cm diameter pendant light built around a geometric polyurethane shell with triangular faceted cutouts, housing a central opal glass globe. The shell is finished in high-gloss white lacquer that reflects ambient light, while the opal glass diffuses the E27 bulb's output through the faceted windows, creating patterns of brightness and shadow on surrounding surfaces. The polished chrome canopy and braided cable complete the fitting.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Facette provides both ambient light through the opal glass and decorative accent through the geometric shell. The 500-1500mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or kitchen island depending on ceiling height. The 50cm diameter suits tables of 1.2-1.8m in length and works over kitchen islands of similar width.

The polyurethane shell is formed using compression molding, producing crisp edges on the triangular facets that would be difficult to achieve in metal or ceramic. The high-gloss white finish is applied as a multi-coat lacquer system, giving a mirror-like surface that picks up reflections from the room. At 3.9kg the pendant has substantial presence without requiring reinforced ceiling mounting. A standard UK ceiling rose and hook can support the weight. The opal glass globe is replaceable if damaged.

The E27 fitting accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and dimming characteristics. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for dining or kitchen use, with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer if dimming control is needed.
