The Facet is a 752mm vertical crystal wall light with three E14 bulb positions set within a polished chrome metal frame. Each light source sits behind a column of precision-cut crystal prisms that refract light outward and across the wall surface, casting geometric patterns of light and shadow when lit. The crystal elements are arranged in horizontal rows, creating a segmented appearance along the length of the fitting.

Designed for hallways, stairwells and feature walls where vertical space is available, the Facet suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The 130mm width keeps the projection from the wall minimal, allowing the fitting to work in narrower corridors without intruding into the walking path. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and kitchens where moisture is present.

The polished chrome finish on the metal frame provides high reflectivity that amplifies the crystal refraction effect, while the crystal itself shows different facets and angles depending on viewing position. Each of the three E14 positions accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving control over total light output and colour temperature based on bulb choice. The metal construction and crystal-to-metal connection points give the fitting a 2.1kg weight, requiring secure fixing to solid wall substrates rather than plasterboard alone.

What bulbs does it take?

The Facet takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a softer light output that complements the crystal refraction.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and should only be used in dry indoor locations. For bathrooms, a wall light with IP44 or higher is required.

What wall fixing is needed?

The fitting weighs approximately 2.1kg when fully assembled with crystal elements. It requires fixing to a solid wall substrate such as brick, block or timber stud, not plasterboard alone. Use wall plugs appropriate to the substrate type and ensure two fixing points are used for stability.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe crystal prisms gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or using household sprays that may leave residue on the faceted surfaces.
