Description

The Eyes is a 555mm-tall LED table lamp with a slender upright stem and a spherical head housing an integrated 6W LED. The lamp head delivers 390 lumens at 3000K warm white through a 35° beam angle, directing light downward or across a desk surface without spill into the surrounding room. The sand black finish is a low-sheen matte coating applied to the metal frame and globe casing.

Designed for desk work, bedside reading and accent lighting on console tables, the Eyes fits workspaces where directed task light is needed without the bulk of an adjustable-arm lamp. The 140mm-diameter circular base provides stability on desk surfaces and the narrow 210mm footprint allows the lamp to sit alongside monitors, keyboards or stacked books without displacing workspace. The integrated LED runs on 100-240V mains without an external transformer.

The 35° beam creates a defined pool of light approximately 400-500mm in diameter when the lamp sits 600mm above a surface, making it suited to illuminating A4 documents, laptops or open books rather than washing an entire desk. The sand black finish contrasts against lighter desk surfaces and walls while blending into darker contemporary interiors. At 2kg the lamp sits firmly without rocking when cables are moved or adjusted.

No. The LED is integrated into the lamp head and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years of typical daily operation.

Can the lamp head be adjusted or angled?

The lamp head is fixed at a downward angle. It does not tilt, rotate or adjust. The 35° beam angle provides some directionality but the head itself remains stationary once positioned.

What size desk or table does it suit?

The 140mm circular base fits comfortably on desks 600mm deep or larger. The narrow footprint allows the lamp to sit alongside monitors or at the edge of a desk without displacing workspace. The 555mm height suits standard desk heights of 720-750mm.

Is it suitable for reading in bed?

The lamp works as a bedside reading light where the reader sits upright. The fixed downward angle means it is less suited to reading while lying flat, as the beam would miss the page. For bedside reading, position the lamp on a nightstand level with or slightly above pillow height.
