Description

The Exility straight connector joins two sections of Maytoni Exility magnetic track in a continuous line. This 80mm white metal connector clips magnetically between track lengths, maintaining electrical continuity and structural alignment without visible fixings or gaps.

Designed for extending track runs in kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices where lighting needs to follow long wall runs or ceiling beams. The connector mounts surface-flush to the ceiling or wall and holds adjacent track sections in precise alignment, preventing sagging or misalignment over time. Installation requires no tools — the magnetic attachment locks the connector to the track ends on contact.

The white powder-coated metal finish matches the Exility white track system, creating a unified appearance across connectors, track lengths and end caps. The 22mm width and 2mm height profile keep the connector visually minimal when viewed from below. At 80mm length, the connector provides enough overlap on each track section to maintain a secure magnetic grip under the weight of attached spotlights.

How does the connector attach to the track?

The connector uses magnetic attachment. It clips onto the ends of two adjacent track sections without screws or additional fixings, locking in place on contact and maintaining both structural alignment and electrical continuity.

Can it be used with other magnetic track systems?

No. The Exility connector is designed specifically for Maytoni Exility magnetic track. It will not fit track systems from other manufacturers due to differences in profile width, magnetic pole positioning and electrical contact layout.

How many connectors are needed for a typical installation?

One connector is required for each join between track sections. A 3-metre run using three 1-metre track lengths would need two connectors. Corners require L-shaped or T-shaped connectors sold separately.

Does the connector carry electrical current?

Yes. The connector maintains electrical continuity between track sections, allowing power to flow from the feed point through to spotlights mounted anywhere along the connected track run.
