The Exility straight connector is an 80mm black metal joiner for Maytoni's Exility magnetic track lighting system. It links two straight track sections end-to-end in a continuous inline run, maintaining electrical continuity and magnetic field alignment across the join. The connector measures 80mm long × 22mm wide × 2mm thick and sits flush with the track profile when installed.

Designed for surface-mounted track installations in residential and commercial spaces, the connector allows track runs to extend beyond the maximum single-piece length without visible gaps or misalignment. The black powder-coated metal finish matches the Exility track body, creating a unified appearance across the ceiling or wall plane. IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations such as living rooms, kitchens, retail showrooms and office spaces.

Is this compatible with all Maytoni Exility track?

This connector is designed specifically for the Maytoni Exility magnetic surface-mounted track system. It will not work with recessed track, other manufacturers' systems, or traditional rail track.

Does it maintain power across the join?

Yes. The connector maintains both electrical continuity and magnetic field alignment, allowing track-mounted lights to be positioned anywhere along the joined sections including directly over the connector itself.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, covered outdoor areas or any location with moisture exposure.

How many connectors are needed for a typical installation?

One connector joins two track sections. For a continuous run using three track pieces, you need two connectors. For four pieces, three connectors, and so on.
