Description

The Exility end cap is a black plastic closure designed to finish the open ends of Maytoni's recessed magnetic track lighting systems. Sold as a 2-pack, each cap measures 46mm long by 26mm wide and sits 2.5mm proud of the track surface once clipped into place, providing a clean termination point for track runs that stop at walls, corners or mid-ceiling.

Used in both residential and commercial installations where magnetic track lighting is recessed into plasterboard ceilings, the end caps prevent dust ingress into the track channel and cover the raw metal edges left exposed when a track section is cut to length. The caps clip onto the track profile without tools, fitting the internal dimensions of the Exility recessed track range.

The black finish matches the standard Exility track colour and sits flush with the ceiling plane once the track itself is installed. Each cap weighs under 10g, so there's no load concern when clipping them onto cantilevered track ends. The plastic construction is non-conductive, providing electrical safety at track terminations where mains voltage runs through the magnetic rail.

Are these compatible with surface-mounted track?

No. The Exility end caps are sized specifically for Maytoni's recessed (built-in) magnetic track systems. Surface-mounted tracks use different profile dimensions and require separate end cap accessories.

How are the caps fitted?

The caps clip directly onto the open ends of the track channel. No tools or adhesive are needed — the internal dimensions of the cap match the track profile, creating a friction fit that holds the cap in place once pressed on.

Can these be painted?

The caps are moulded black plastic. Painting is not recommended, as paint may crack or chip when the cap flexes during installation or if removed for access. If a different finish is needed, check whether Maytoni offers the Exility end cap in white or other colours.
