Description

The Exility end cap is a white plastic finishing piece for Maytoni's built-in magnetic track lighting systems, supplied in a 2-pack. Each cap measures 46mm long by 26mm wide and snaps into the open end of an Exility recessed track section, closing the aperture and preventing dust, debris or insects from entering the track channel once installation is complete.

Designed for use in residential, retail and commercial track lighting installations where the track is recessed into ceiling plasterboard or drywall, the end caps provide a clean termination point for track runs that stop before reaching a wall. The snap-in fitting requires no tools or screws and can be installed or removed by hand, making it straightforward to add or adjust track sections during or after initial fitting.

The white ABS plastic construction matches standard white ceiling finishes and the low-profile design (2.5mm height) sits flush with the track edge, maintaining a minimal visual presence. Are these compatible with surface-mounted Exility track?

No. These end caps are specifically designed for Exility built-in (recessed) track systems where the track sits flush with the ceiling surface. Surface-mounted track uses a different profile and requires separate end caps.

How are the end caps fitted?

The caps snap into the open end of the track by hand. No tools, screws or adhesive are required. The cap aligns with the track channel profile and clicks into place, and can be removed by pulling gently if track adjustments are needed later.

Can the caps be painted?

Yes, if needed to match a non-white ceiling. The plastic surface accepts most acrylic and emulsion paints. Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper before painting to improve adhesion, and allow paint to cure fully before handling.
