Description

The Exility is a 2m surface-mounted magnetic track built from white powder-coated aluminium, designed for 48V low-voltage track lighting systems. The track houses two parallel copper conductors behind a magnetic interface, allowing compatible track spotlights to be positioned, repositioned and rotated anywhere along the 200cm length without tools or fixed mounting points.

Designed for retail spaces, offices, galleries and residential rooms where lighting needs to adapt to changing layouts or focal points, the track mounts directly to ceilings or walls using concealed fixings behind the 26mm-wide profile. The 48V DC system requires a compatible driver (sold separately) and supports multiple spotlights on a single 2m run, with the exact number depending on the combined wattage of the fixtures. The white finish integrates cleanly into light-toned ceilings and pairs with both monochrome and warm interior palettes.

The aluminium extrusion measures 52mm in height and 26mm in width, giving the track a low-profile presence when surface-mounted. The magnetic attachment system means spotlights clip on and off in seconds, making it practical to reconfigure accent lighting around artwork, merchandise or furniture without rewiring. The track can be joined end-to-end with compatible connectors (sold separately) to create runs longer than 2m, or cut to shorter lengths on-site if needed. What voltage driver does this track need?

The Exility track runs on 48V DC, so it requires a compatible 48V driver unit (sold separately). The driver converts 230V mains to 48V DC. Choose a driver with enough wattage capacity to power all the spotlights you plan to install on the track.

How many spotlights can one 2m track support?

The number depends on the combined wattage of the spotlights and the capacity of your 48V driver. If each spotlight draws 10W and your driver outputs 100W, you can run up to 10 spotlights on a single circuit. Check the driver rating and spotlight specifications before installation.

Can the track be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The aluminium profile can be cut to length on-site using a fine-toothed saw. The internal conductors will need to be reconnected to the power feed after cutting. Refer to the installation manual for wiring guidance.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Maytoni produces compatible track connectors (sold separately) that allow you to join two or more Exility tracks end-to-end to create continuous runs longer than 2m. Ensure your driver has sufficient output to power all fixtures across the extended run.
