Eveready LR44 Alkaline Coin Batteries - 2 Pack

This is a pair of Eveready LR44 button cells, the small silver discs that sit flat inside a battery compartment rather than standing upright in a clip. Each cell is alkaline and gives 1.5V, as printed on the retail card. The same cell is also coded A76, and both codes are printed on the front of the pack, which matters when the spent cell in your hand is stamped with one code and the device manual quotes the other. Two cells come on the card, so a device that takes a stack of two is covered by a single purchase.

LR44 is the size most often called for by small, low drain electronics: kitchen scales, calculators, digital thermometers, laser pointers, car key fobs, light up novelties and children's toys. What voltage do I get if my device takes two of them?

Can I use these where the manual asks for a silver oxide cell?
