Description

The Eve is a single-arm wall light with an anthracite powder-coated metal frame and a white fabric shade measuring 180mm wide by 340mm tall. The metal arm extends 140mm from the wall, positioning the oval shade away from the mounting surface to cast light both up and down. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately), allowing choice of wattage, colour temperature and bulb style to suit the room.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living areas where soft ambient light is needed without overhead fittings, the Eve mounts to a standard wall box or bracket. The shade is lined with white fabric on both interior and exterior surfaces, diffusing the light evenly and preventing harsh glare. The anthracite frame sits on the darker end of the grey spectrum, providing contrast against lighter wall colours while remaining neutral enough to pair with both warm and cool palettes.

The flowing curve of the metal arm gives the fitting a sculptural quality without dominating wall space. At 0.50kg the Eve is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings. The 340mm overall height suits standard residential wall heights of 2.4-2.7m when positioned 1.6-1.8m above floor level, placing the centre of the shade at typical eye height when standing.

The Eve takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Maximum wattage depends on the bulb type chosen. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bedroom or hallway use. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no electronics that would prevent dimming. Dimmer compatibility is determined by the bulb you install.

How far does it project from the wall?

The arm extends 140mm from the wall mounting surface to the centre of the shade. The shade itself adds approximately 90mm radius, giving a total projection of around 230mm from wall to the furthest edge of the shade.

Can it be mounted on plasterboard?

Yes. At 0.50kg the Eve is light enough to mount on plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings or plasterboard anchors rated to 2-3kg. Ensure the fixing is suitable for the wall type and load.
