Eve 3 Light Pendant Light - Anthracite with White Shade

The Eve is a 500mm diameter pendant light combining an anthracite-finished metal frame with a white pleated fabric drum shade. Three curved arms rise from the black ceiling canopy and arc down to support the shade from above, with three E27 bulb fittings positioned inside the drum. The frame finish is a dark grey-brown anthracite powder coat with a low-sheen matte surface that absorbs rather than reflects room light.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Eve provides ambient downlight through the white fabric shade while the exposed curved frame adds architectural presence overhead. The drop is adjustable between 600mm and 1500mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or lowered further for higher ceilings. The shade diameter of 500mm suits tables of 1200-1800mm length or kitchen islands of similar width.

The white shade fabric has a vertical pleat texture running top to bottom, creating a ribbed surface that catches light differently across the circumference as the viewer moves around the pendant. The fabric is translucent rather than opaque, diffusing bulb light outward through the shade walls while a frosted white lining on the inside prevents direct bulb glare below. The three curved metal arms connecting canopy to shade form a Y-shape when viewed from the side, giving the fitting a sculptural profile even when unlit.

The Eve accepts three E27 bulbs (sold separately) up to a combined load determined by the dimmer if one is fitted. Dimmability depends on bulb choice and dimmer compatibility — pair with dimmable LED E27 bulbs and a trailing-edge LED dimmer for full control. The anthracite frame finish pairs cleanly with black, grey and charcoal interiors, while the white shade lightens the overall appearance and works in rooms where a fully black pendant would feel too heavy.

What bulbs does it take?

The Eve takes three standard E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED E27 bulbs between 6-10W each and 2700K-3000K colour temperature for dining and living spaces.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a trailing-edge LED dimmer for best results with LED bulbs to avoid flicker or buzzing.

What table size does it suit?

The 500mm shade diameter works over dining tables of 1200-1800mm length or kitchen islands of similar width. For tables longer than 1800mm, consider using two Eve pendants spaced along the length rather than one centred.

How is the drop adjusted?

The cable length is adjusted during installation by shortening the suspension cable inside the ceiling canopy. Once fitted, the drop is fixed unless the pendant is taken down and reinstalled at a different length.
