Description

The Estalacta is a 680mm-tall bathroom wall light with two opal white polyethylene shades mounted on a silver-finish circular backplate. Each shade houses a GU10 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and the shades are shaped as tapering vertical columns that reference the form of stalactites. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, covering areas outside the immediate shower enclosure but within the general bathroom environment.

Designed for mounting above or beside bathroom mirrors where vertical space is available, the Estalacta provides wash lighting across the mirror surface from both upper and lower shades. The 110mm projection from the wall keeps the shades clear of mirror edges in typical installations. The opal polyethylene diffuses direct glare from the GU10 bulbs, giving a soft spread of light that works for both task lighting at the mirror and ambient lighting in smaller bathrooms.

The silver-finish backplate and shade caps pair with chrome or brushed nickel bathroom fittings, and the white polyethylene softens the metallic accent without creating a stark contrast. The two-shade configuration spreads light more evenly than single-source fittings, reducing shadows under the chin and around the face when positioned centrally above a mirror.
