Description

The Espire Carbon Monoxide Alarm runs on 230V AC mains power with a built-in 10 year lithium battery backup, so it keeps working if the mains supply is interrupted. The battery is sealed and non-replaceable, giving you a full decade of cover before the unit needs replacing.

It supports both wired interconnect and RF-Link connection, with the RF option requiring the ES1RF module. You can link up to 28 devices together, so when one alarm detects carbon monoxide the others sound too. This makes it a practical choice for larger homes where you want alarms across several rooms.

The housing is made from UL94-V0 rated, UV stabilised ABS and measures ø132 x 52mm. It is rated to installation grade D1 and uses a dedicated carbon monoxide sensor for accurate detection.
