Description

The Esparta is a 1530mm linear pendant light built around an integrated 50W 3000K LED that runs the length of a slim white metal frame accented with gold details at the suspension points and lamp housing. The LED delivers 2100 lumens through a 120° beam angle, casting even, diffused light downward over kitchen islands, dining tables and worktops without visible hot spots or dark zones.

Designed for installation over surfaces that need consistent task lighting across their full length, the Esparta suits kitchen islands between 1.2m and 1.8m, rectangular dining tables, and commercial reception desks. The adjustable drop from 450mm to 1500mm allows the fitting to be set 700-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height, with the slim 70mm width minimising visual bulk when viewed from the side. The white finish pairs cleanly with white ceilings and cabinetry, while the gold accents at each suspension point add warmth without dominating the palette.

The frame measures just 70mm wide, making it visually recessive when installed over a narrow island or bar counter. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for AC220-240V, so installation requires a standard UK ceiling rose with mains voltage. At 1.3kg the fitting is light enough to hang from plasterboard ceilings without additional support when properly installed. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, making food and skin tones appear natural under the light.

Is the Esparta dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at a fixed 50W output delivering 2100 lumens. Pairing it with a dimmer switch will not work and may damage the driver.

What length kitchen island does it suit?

The 1530mm length works over islands and tables between 1.2m and 1.8m. For islands shorter than 1.2m the light will overhang noticeably; for islands longer than 1.8m consider installing two Esparta fittings in a run.

How low should it hang above a worktop?

Most installations set the fitting 700-900mm above the worktop or table surface. The adjustable drop from 450mm to 1500mm accommodates ceiling heights from 2.4m upward.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The suspension cables are fixed-length and designed for level ceilings. Installation on a sloped ceiling would require custom mounting hardware not supplied with the fitting.
