Description
The ESP Lockable Document Storage Box is an A4-capacity wall-mounted enclosure designed to store fire safety certificates, emergency lighting test logs, CCTV compliance documentation and other statutory records required to be kept on-site. The box measures 310 x 250 x 80mm externally and features a lockable hinged door with two supplied keys.
Intended for commercial, hospitality, retail and public buildings where compliance documentation must be accessible to inspectors but secure from casual access, the box mounts directly to a wall via two keyhole slots on the rear panel. The white powder-coated steel finish suits most interior wall colours and the shallow 80mm depth allows installation in corridors, service areas and plant rooms without creating a significant obstruction.
The lockable door uses a cam lock with two identical keys, allowing one to be held by site management and one by facilities or maintenance staff. The internal clearance accommodates standard A4 document wallets, ring binders up to 40mm spine width, and stacks of loose certificates or test sheets. At 2kg net weight the box is substantial enough to resist tampering once wall-mounted but light enough for single-person installation.

Frequently Asked
What types of documents is this box designed to store?
The box is designed for fire safety certificates, emergency lighting test records, CCTV compliance documentation, and other statutory records that must be kept on-site for inspection purposes. The A4 capacity suits standard certificate sizes and ring binders up to 40mm spine width.
How is it mounted to the wall?
The box features two keyhole slots on the rear panel. Fixings are not included, so you will need appropriate wall plugs and screws for your wall type. The 2kg weight requires secure fixing into masonry, blockwork or studwork with cavity anchors.
Can additional keys be cut?
Yes. The cam lock uses a standard key profile. A locksmith can cut duplicates from either of the two supplied keys if additional copies are needed for site personnel.
What is the internal clearance?
The external dimensions are 310 x 250 x 80mm. Allowing for the steel wall thickness and the door rebate, the usable internal depth is approximately 70mm, sufficient for stacks of A4 paper, slim ring binders, or multiple document wallets.
