Description

The Eris is a 103mm recessed LED downlight with an integrated 10W LED module delivering warm 3000K light through a white aluminium trim. The downlight sits flush with the ceiling once installed, with only the white bezel and inner reflector visible from below. The 10W LED provides general ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 8-10m².

Designed for dry interior ceilings in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and home offices, the Eris requires a circular ceiling cut-out and void depth sufficient for the integrated driver and heat sink (typically 80-100mm above the ceiling surface). The IP20 rating limits installation to dry areas — not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens above hobs, or any location subject to moisture ingress. The white finish blends into standard white ceilings, making the fitting nearly invisible when switched off.

The aluminium construction dissipates heat from the LED module efficiently, supporting the rated 30,000-hour lifespan typical of fixed LED downlights in this class. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm tone comparable to traditional halogen without the heat output or energy draw — the 10W consumption is roughly one-sixth that of a 60W halogen equivalent. The LED is non-dimmable and operates directly from 230V mains via the integral driver.
