Description

The Eris is a 210mm recessed LED downlight with an integrated 30W LED module producing warm white 3000K light through a white aluminium bezel. The downlight installs flush to the ceiling plane with only the white trim ring visible once fitted, giving a clean recessed appearance that suits modern interiors without projecting into the room.

Designed for larger residential rooms (living rooms, dining rooms, master bedrooms) and commercial spaces (offices, retail, hospitality) where ceiling heights of 2.4m or above allow effective light spread, the 30W output provides functional ambient light across a 12-16m² area depending on ceiling height and reflectance. The recessed installation requires a ceiling void depth of at least 100mm to accommodate the driver and heat sink assembly. The IP20 rating limits the Eris to dry internal environments only.

The white powder-coated aluminium bezel and trim ring provide a neutral finish that integrates with white ceilings or pairs with other white ceiling fittings (smoke detectors, ventilation grilles, other downlights) to maintain a consistent ceiling plane. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white tone closer to traditional halogen than cooler commercial LED whites, making it comfortable for residential use. The non-dimmable driver is fixed to 30W output, so brightness cannot be adjusted after installation.

No. The Eris uses an integrated LED module rated for approximately 25,000-50,000 hours of use (dependent on operating conditions). The LED cannot be replaced separately from the fitting. Once the LED reaches end of life, the entire downlight assembly is replaced.

What colour is the light output?

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light similar to a traditional halogen bulb, with a slight yellow-orange cast. This is warmer than office lighting (typically 4000K-5000K) and suits residential interiors where a relaxed atmosphere is wanted.
