Description

The Eos is a 490mm flush ceiling light moulded from opal white polyethylene in an organic cloud-like form, housing four E27 bulb sockets and an integrated Bluetooth speaker. The single-piece shade diffuses light from all four bulbs through the translucent material, while the speaker sits recessed within the base for audio playback without visible grilles or external controls.

Rated IP44, the fitting is suitable for bathrooms (zones 2 and 3), covered patios, conservatories and outdoor porches where the ceiling provides protection from direct rainfall. The speaker connects via Bluetooth to phones, tablets or other devices, allowing music, podcasts or ambient sound to play alongside the lighting. This makes the Eos practical for spa-style bathrooms, covered outdoor dining areas, and family rooms where built-in audio removes the need for separate speakers.

The polyethylene construction keeps the weight to 3kg despite the 490mm width, and the organic curves soften the visual presence on a ceiling compared to geometric flush fittings. Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the shower enclosure and more than 600mm from the bath edge). It is not rated for zone 0 or 1 (inside or directly above the bath/shower).
