Six G9 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately) sit behind the diffuser, casting light through both the frosted glass and the surrounding crystal, which refracts and multiplies the brightness across the fixture surface.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant or chandelier would hang too low, the Enya sits 140mm from the ceiling surface and works in hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (if rated appropriately), and living spaces needing overhead lighting without vertical drop. The 450mm diameter suits rooms between 3m x 3m and 4m x 4m, providing both functional light spread and decorative presence without dominating smaller spaces.

Each crystal square is individually cut to a precise geometry that maximizes internal refraction, so light entering the crystal bounces between the facets before exiting at angles that scatter brightness across walls and ceilings. The polished chrome base reflects the crystal array above it, creating the illusion of greater depth than the 140mm physical height suggests. At 4.3kg, the fixture requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing rated to the weight.

The frosted white diffuser softens the direct glare from the six bulbs while still allowing enough brightness through the crystal surround to activate the refractive quality of the Asfour crystal. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted between task brightness for reading and softer ambient levels for evening use.

What bulbs does the Enya take?

The fixture requires six G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general room lighting, which together provide similar brightness to a traditional 40-60W incandescent bulb.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Is the Enya dimmable?

How is the fixture cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe the polished chrome base with a soft microfibre cloth. For the crystal squares, use a barely-damp microfibre cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water spots. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the fixture or the frosted glass diffuser.
