The Enigma is an adjustable LED pendant light from Maytoni combining a white cylindrical canopy with a black directional light head suspended on adjustable cables. The integrated 5W 3000K LED sits inside the black cylinder, which rotates and tilts on a cable-based suspension system to direct light where needed. The canopy measures 300mm in length and houses the cable mechanism.

Designed for task and accent lighting rather than ambient room illumination, the Enigma suits kitchen islands, dining tables, bedside reading positions, and home office desks where adjustable light direction is needed. The cable suspension allows both vertical height adjustment and horizontal positioning of the light head relative to the canopy. The black cylinder housing the LED can be angled to direct light onto a work surface, a reading position, or up onto a ceiling as wash light.

The white canopy and black light head create a two-tone composition that pairs with monochrome, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The metal construction gives the pendant a combined weight that feels substantial without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings. The IP20 rating limits the Enigma to dry indoor locations only. The integrated 5W LED runs on 220-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this Maytoni model.

How is the light direction adjusted?

The black cylinder housing the LED is suspended on cables from the white canopy. The cables allow the cylinder to be repositioned horizontally and vertically relative to the canopy, and the cylinder itself can be angled to direct light onto different surfaces or positions.

What is the light output suitable for?

The 5W 3000K LED provides warm directional light for task and accent use. It is not designed as primary ambient lighting for a room — pair it with ceiling lights or wall lights for full room illumination.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Enigma to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area where moisture or steam is present.
