Description

This white wooden photo frame pairs a single upright photograph with a soft grey verse plaque, a simple and heartfelt way to mark an engagement. On one side sits the window for your picture. On the other, a raised panel reads "Engaged" in flowing black script, followed by "together they built a life they loved", with the closing words set in the same script. The frame has a clean, flat white face and squared edges, so the verse and your photograph do all the talking. It measures 24cm along its longer side, 18cm along its shorter side and 1.7cm deep, so it sits neatly on a shelf without crowding it.

Because it stands on its own, it suits a mantelpiece, a bedside table, a sideboard or a desk, anywhere you want a reminder of a happy moment. We think it makes a thoughtful engagement gift, ready to hold a favourite picture from the proposal, the party or a quiet day together. It is just as lovely kept for yourselves, an early piece for a shared home that marks where the next chapter began. The white frame and pale grey plaque sit comfortably in most rooms, from a bright living room to a calm bedroom, and will not fight with what is already there.

On the back, a black backing board sits behind the photograph window, held by small turn clips. A black strut lets the frame stand upright on any flat surface, so it needs no wall. Your picture goes in from the back: turn the clips, lift the board, set your photograph in place and close it up again. To keep the wood and the verse plaque looking fresh, dust with a soft dry cloth. For a gift that feels finished, slip in a print of the couple before you wrap it, so it is ready for the shelf the moment it is opened.
