Description

The Energizer Smart LED Ceiling Light is a 330mm flush-mount fitting with an integrated 18W LED delivering 1840 lumens and RGBW colour-changing capability. The fitting connects to a WiFi network and is controlled via the Energizer Smart app (iOS and Android), allowing you to switch between full RGB colour modes, variable white temperatures from 3000K warm white to 6500K cool white, and dimming across the full brightness range.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and kitchens with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 3m, the 330mm diameter suits rooms up to 12-15m². The app supports group control (linking multiple fittings to operate simultaneously), scheduling and sleep scheduling, remote access when away from home, and voice control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The 120-degree beam angle provides even downward light distribution suitable for general room illumination rather than task lighting.

The white polycarbonate diffuser sits flush to the ceiling with a 60mm overall depth, requiring approximately 80mm ceiling void clearance for the driver and mounting bracket. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only (Zone 3) — this fitting is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. Installation requires a standard UK ceiling rose connection and the fitting draws less than 1W on standby when switched off via the app but still powered at the mains.

What's the difference between RGBW and variable white?

RGBW means the fitting contains red, green, blue and white LEDs, allowing full colour mixing (pinks, purples, blues, greens) plus variable white temperatures from 3000K warm white to 6500K cool white. You switch between colour modes and white modes via the app.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only (Zone 3). It cannot be used in bathrooms or any location where it may be exposed to moisture or splashing water.

Does it need a hub or bridge?

No. The fitting connects directly to your home WiFi network and is controlled via the free Energizer Smart app. No separate hub, bridge or gateway is required.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

The fitting projects 60mm below the ceiling once installed. You will need approximately 80mm of void clearance above the ceiling for the driver unit and mounting bracket to fit comfortably.
