Description

The Energizer Magnetic LED Torch is a 50 lumen handheld torch with an integrated magnetic base, a white LED head and a push-button switch. The torch ships with two AA alkaline batteries fitted, providing up to 40 hours of continuous light from the moment it arrives. The LED is rated for the lifetime of the torch and does not need replacing.

Designed for household repairs, workshop tasks, camping and emergency kits, the torch combines directed beam light with hands-free placement via the magnetic base. The magnet attaches the torch securely to any ferrous metal surface — car bonnets, toolboxes, garage shelving, household appliances — freeing both hands for working in low-light conditions. The wrist lanyard prevents the torch being dropped or misplaced during mobile use.

The torch body measures 240mm in length with a 50mm diameter barrel, fitting comfortably in one hand or in the side pocket of a rucksack or tool bag. The impact-resistant plastic housing withstands workshop drops and outdoor knocks without cracking. The push-button switch sits flush with the barrel and activates with a single press, turning the LED on or off without needing to rotate the head or slide a collar.

The torch provides up to 40 hours of continuous light on the two AA alkaline batteries included. Battery life depends on usage patterns — intermittent use over several weeks will deliver the full 40-hour runtime, while continuous use drains the batteries faster.

Does the LED need replacing?

No. The LED is rated for the lifetime of the torch and does not require replacement. There are no bulbs to change or maintain.

What surfaces will the magnet attach to?

The magnetic base attaches to ferrous metal surfaces including steel toolboxes, car bonnets, garage shelving, refrigerators and metal workbenches. The magnet will not attach to aluminium, wood, plastic or non-ferrous metals.

Is the torch waterproof?

The torch is built for indoor and light outdoor use but does not carry an IP rating for water resistance. It will withstand light rain and damp conditions but should not be submerged or used in heavy downpours.
