Description

The Energizer Smart LED is an 8.5W E27 GLS bulb delivering 806 lumens with variable white temperature (2700K warm to 6500K cool daylight) and full-spectrum colour modes controlled via the Tuya smartphone app. The bulb connects to your home Wi-Fi (no hub required) and responds to voice commands through Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where lighting needs shift throughout the day, the bulb switches from warm white for evening relaxation to cool white for desk work, or to colour modes for accent lighting and ambiance. The app-based dimming adjusts brightness from 10-100%, and the group control feature allows multiple bulbs to be synchronised for coordinated lighting effects across a room or entire floor.

The standard E27 screw base fits UK and EU pendant fittings, table lamps and floor lamps without adaptors. At 8.5W actual consumption (rated 9.2W on the spec label), the bulb replaces a 60W halogen equivalent while drawing a tenth of the power. The variable colour temperature range means a single bulb can deliver morning task light at 5000K+ and evening ambient warmth at 2700K without swapping fittings.

The Tuya platform stores lighting schedules, scenes and automation routines in the cloud, so the bulb can be controlled remotely when away from home or set to turn on/off at scheduled times. The bulb requires a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection during initial pairing and responds to commands with a sub-second delay once connected.

No. The bulb connects directly to your home Wi-Fi (2.4GHz required) via the Tuya Smart app. No additional hub, bridge or gateway is needed.

Can I control multiple bulbs together?

Yes. The Tuya app supports group control, allowing multiple Energizer smart bulbs to be synchronised for coordinated brightness, colour and scene changes across a room or entire home.

Is it compatible with standard dimmer switches?

The bulb is app-dimmable, not wall-dimmer-compatible. Use it on a standard non-dimming switch (leave the switch on and control dimming via the app) or replace the wall switch with a smart switch that doesn't send analogue dimming signals.
