The Empyra is a 153cm full-length cheval mirror with a black-painted wooden frame and an integrated rear support that allows the mirror to stand freely without wall mounting. The frame measures 47cm wide and the angled support extends 42cm from the wall when positioned, giving the mirror a footprint that keeps it stable on carpet or hard floors without needing fixings.

Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms and walk-in wardrobes where a full-length reflection is needed but wall space or stud positions make fixed mounting impractical, the Empyra can be repositioned as room layouts change. The black-painted wooden frame is 2.5cm deep around the glass, creating a defined border that works in contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors where darker furniture or accent colours are already present.

The mirror glass itself measures approximately 145cm tall by 39cm wide, providing a head-to-toe reflection for most adults when standing 1-2m away. The 10kg total weight gives the frame enough mass to resist tipping when knocked lightly, but the mirror remains light enough for one person to move between rooms or reposition within a space. The black finish is a matt paint over wood rather than a laminate or foil, so minor scuffs from repositioning can be touched up if needed.

The mirror sits at a fixed angle determined by the rear support frame. It does not adjust, but the angle is set to provide a full-length reflection when standing 1-2m away from the glass.

Is it stable on carpet?

Yes. The 42cm rear support and 10kg weight provide stability on both hard floors and short-to-medium-pile carpet. On deep shag or very thick rugs the mirror may benefit from being positioned where the rear support leg sits on bare floor.

Can it be wall-mounted instead of free-standing?

The Empyra is designed as a free-standing cheval mirror and does not include wall-mounting brackets. If wall mounting is preferred, a separate hanging system would need to be added by the installer.

How is the frame cleaned?

Wipe the black-painted wooden frame with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. For the mirror glass, use standard glass cleaner or a vinegar-water solution and a lint-free cloth to avoid streaks.
