Description

The Emily is a 2 light crystal wall light built around a polished chrome backplate and two curved arms that loop downward before rising to hold candle-style bulb positions. Each arm carries strings of faceted clear crystal beads that cascade around the bulb holder, with a larger teardrop crystal suspended beneath each arm on a short chain. The fitting includes an integrated rocker switch on the backplate for local control without needing to reach a wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and dining rooms where decorative wall lighting adds both function and visual interest, the Emily suits positions flanking a bed headboard, either side of a mirror, or as accent lighting in a sitting room. The 160mm projection keeps the crystals clear of the wall while the 300mm width and 360mm height provide presence without dominating smaller wall sections. The built-in switch makes it particularly suited to bedside use where table lamps might clutter a narrow nightstand.

Each fitting takes two E14 candle bulbs up to 40W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the light quality and running cost preferred. The crystals refract and multiply the light from the two bulbs, creating prismatic flashes across the wall and ceiling when the light is on. The Emily takes two E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to replicate traditional candlelight while keeping running costs low.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and control the fitting via a compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit. The integrated rocker switch on the backplate is an on/off switch only and does not provide dimming control.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 160mm from the wall to the furthest point of the crystals and arms. This keeps the crystals clear of the wall surface while remaining compact enough for narrower hallways and beside-bed positions.

Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystal strands and teardrop pendants are threaded onto the frame and can be carefully lifted off for cleaning or replacement. Wipe crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid soaking the metal fittings or using chemical sprays.
