Description

The Emery is a 203mm mini pendant light with an imperial silver metal shade and a prismatic glass diffuser beneath. The shade tapers from a 203mm mouth down to a prismatic lens that conceals the E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) and diffuses the light output across the lens surface. The imperial silver finish is a brushed nickel-toned metal with a soft lustre that sits between polished chrome and satin steel.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, utility rooms and hallways where task lighting at worktop or counter height is needed, the Emery works as a single pendant or in runs of two, three or more spaced 600-800mm apart. The adjustable drop ranges from 345mm minimum to 1259mm maximum, set during installation by adjusting the cable length within the ceiling canopy. This allows the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.6m.

The metal construction and prismatic glass give the fitting a total weight of approximately 1.2kg. The prismatic diffuser is pressed glass with vertical ribs on the interior surface, dispersing light downwards and outwards rather than allowing a visible bright spot from the bulb. The imperial silver finish pairs with stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel taps and handles, and cooler-toned greys and whites in both traditional and contemporary kitchens.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

How many pendants are needed for a kitchen island?

For a standard 1800-2400mm kitchen island, two or three Emery pendants spaced 600-800mm apart provide balanced task lighting. Smaller islands or breakfast bars may need only one, while islands longer than 2400mm can accommodate four or more.

Is the prismatic glass replaceable if damaged?

The prismatic diffuser is a separate component that can be removed from the metal shade. Contact Quoizel or Niori for replacement glass availability if the diffuser is damaged.
