Description

The Emery is a 3-light island pendant from Quoizel, spanning 1333mm across with three cone-shaped metal shades in a Palladian Bronze finish. Each shade houses an E27 bulb (sold separately) behind a prismatic glass diffuser that softens the light output and reduces glare. The pendant hangs from a rectangular ceiling plate on twin chains connected to an arched yoke, with a horizontal bar suspending the three shades at evenly spaced intervals.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters, the Emery works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The drop is adjustable between 730mm and 1984mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 750-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on the room's proportions. The 1333mm span provides task lighting across a 1.5-2m island or table without needing multiple separate pendants.

The Palladian Bronze finish is a warm, mid-tone brown with slight texture variation across the metal surface, designed to pair with oak, walnut and other warm-toned wood finishes common in traditional and transitional kitchens. The prismatic diffusers are clear ribbed glass that scatter the bulb light outward while maintaining downward task illumination. The metal construction and chain suspension give the fitting a combined weight that requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable support.

The 1333mm span works best above islands or tables between 1.5m and 2m in length. For longer islands above 2.5m, consider a longer pendant or multiple fittings to maintain even light distribution.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

No. The drop is adjustable between 730mm and 1984mm during installation by shortening the chain, but once installed the height is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and re-hung.
