Description

The Emery is a 203mm weathered brass mini pendant with a bell-shaped metal shade housing a prismatic glass lens diffuser. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and suspends on an adjustable rod from a matching weathered brass canopy. The prismatic lens softens and spreads the downward light, reducing glare while maintaining useful illumination for worktops and dining surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallway positions where a compact downlight is needed, the Emery works as a single fitting over a small table or in groups of two or three along a larger island. The 345mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights, with the rod adjustable up to 1259mm during installation for higher ceilings or where a longer drop is wanted. The weathered brass finish shows tonal variation and subtle patina, giving an aged metal appearance that pairs with both traditional wood kitchens and industrial-style interiors.

The metal shade measures 222mm tall and 203mm across at the widest point, giving the pendant a compact profile that does not dominate smaller rooms. The prismatic glass lens sits flush with the base of the shade, protected from accidental contact but visible when the bulb is lit. What bulb does it take?

The Emery takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 6-8W and 2700K for ambient dining or kitchen task light.

Can multiple pendants be installed together?

Yes. The compact 203mm diameter allows two or three Emery pendants to be spaced 400-600mm apart along a kitchen island or dining table without crowding. Each pendant requires a separate ceiling rose and wiring point.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The rod length is set during installation and cannot be adjusted afterwards without removing the pendant from the ceiling. The drop can be set anywhere between 345mm and 1259mm at the time of fitting.

What is the prismatic lens for?

The prismatic glass diffuser sits at the base of the shade and spreads the downward light from the bulb, softening shadows and reducing glare. This gives more even illumination across a worktop or table surface than a bare bulb would provide.
