The Emberlit is an 800mm diameter empire-style crystal chandelier built on a multi-tiered polished brass frame, supporting 24 E14 bulb positions across its structure. Each tier holds rows of facet-cut crystal beads strung between brass rings, with longer crystal droplets hanging from the lower tiers to create cascading layers. The chandelier weighs approximately 15kg when fully assembled, requiring a reinforced ceiling rose and appropriate fixings for safe installation.

Designed for large rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Emberlit suits grand dining rooms, double-height entrance halls, and period properties where a substantial centrepiece is appropriate. The 1050mm drop from ceiling rose to lowest crystal point places the chandelier approximately 1950mm above floor level in a standard 3m-height room, which clears head height but maintains presence. The dimmable capability allows the 24 bulbs to be adjusted from full brightness for formal occasions down to ambient glow for evening use, provided the bulbs and dimmer are compatible.

The polished brass frame shows a warm golden tone that deepens slightly under incandescent or warm LED light. The facet-cut crystals refract light in multiple directions, producing scattered highlights across walls and ceilings when the chandelier is lit. Each crystal element is secured with brass pins and can be removed individually for cleaning. The E14 bulb positions accept candle-style LED or halogen bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and total output based on room size and desired ambience. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The 1050mm drop requires a minimum ceiling height of 3m to maintain comfortable clearance above floor level. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the chandelier would hang too low for safe passage underneath. Double-height spaces of 4-5m allow the chandelier to be positioned as a mid-level feature rather than close to the ceiling.

Are the bulbs included?

No. The chandelier requires 24 E14 bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to achieve ambient light without excessive heat or running costs.

Is it dimmable with any dimmer switch?

How are the crystals cleaned?

Each crystal element can be removed individually from its brass pin for cleaning. Wipe gently with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water marks. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the chandelier as this can damage the brass frame or electrical components.
