Emberlit 24 Light Crystal Chandelier - Brass

The Emberlit is a 780mm diameter crystal chandelier built around a brass metal frame with three tiers of faceted crystal droplets cascading from the outer rim down to a central pendant cluster. The fitting houses 24 E14 bulbs (sold separately), divided across the upper rim, middle band and lower pendant, with each bulb positioned behind or amongst the crystal strands to maximise refraction and sparkle.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Emberlit provides both ambient and decorative illumination. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing light output to be adjusted from full brightness for entertaining to softer levels for ambient evening lighting. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and outdoor spaces.

The brass frame provides structural support and a warm metallic backdrop that contrasts with the clear cut crystal. The tiered configuration creates depth and volume without the chandelier feeling bottom-heavy, and the arrangement of crystal strands at varying lengths produces continuous light reflection as the fitting is viewed from different angles across a room. At 780mm diameter the fitting suits tables of 1.8-2.4m length or entrance halls of 3-4m width, where the scale provides presence without overwhelming the space.

Each crystal element is individually hung on the brass frame, giving the fitting its characteristic layered appearance and allowing each strand to catch and refract light independently. The outer ring of crystals sits close to the ceiling mount, with the middle tier dropping approximately 200mm below that, and the central pendant cluster extending furthest. This tiered drop suits rooms where ceiling height allows the chandelier to be appreciated from below as well as horizontally across the room.

What bulbs does the Emberlit require?

The chandelier takes 24 E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED E14 candle bulbs (2700K-3000K) for a combined output of approximately 2,400 lumens across all 24 fittings, sufficient for ambient dining room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs and dimmer switch used. The fitting itself supports dimming — you must use dimmable E14 LED bulbs and pair them with a trailing-edge LED dimmer for smooth, flicker-free dimming performance.

What ceiling height is needed?

The tiered drop and 780mm diameter suit rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In dining rooms the chandelier typically sits 750-900mm above the table surface, which works comfortably in spaces with 2.7-3m ceilings. Lower ceilings may cause the lower crystal tier to feel too close to head height.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal strand gently with a soft microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the brass frame or allowing water to reach the bulb sockets. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystal.
