Description
The Emberfield is a 760mm white metal suspension fitting with four independently adjustable GU10 spotlights mounted on a horizontal bar. Each spotlight head rotates and tilts on its mounting point, allowing light to be directed onto specific areas of a kitchen island, dining table, or work surface. The bar suspends on two cables from a matching white ceiling rose, and the cable length can be adjusted during installation to set the drop distance.
Designed for kitchens, dining rooms and utility spaces that need directional task lighting, the Emberfield pairs the versatility of track lighting with the clean lines of a pendant fitting. The four GU10 sockets (bulbs sold separately) give the flexibility to choose bulb wattage, beam angle and colour temperature based on the specific task — narrow 38° beams for focused work light, or wider 60° floods for general illumination. The 760mm bar length suits kitchen islands of 1.2-1.8m and dining tables seating four to six.
The white powder-coated metal finish on both the bar and the spotlight heads gives a matt surface that minimises glare and pairs with white cabinetry, contemporary kitchens and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. Each spotlight head measures 55mm diameter and 105mm height, giving a compact profile that keeps the fitting visually light when suspended above a workspace. The IP20 rating restricts the Emberfield to dry indoor areas, but the dimmable GU10 sockets support LED bulbs on compatible dimmers for adjustable output.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Emberfield take?
Four GU10 bulbs are required (sold separately). Most users pair this with 4-6W LED GU10s in 3000K warm white for kitchen and dining use. The maximum wattage per socket is typically 50W, but check the full specification for the exact rating.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when paired with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Standard triac dimmers may cause flicker with LED bulbs, so confirm dimmer compatibility before installation.
Can the spotlight heads be angled independently?
Yes. Each of the four spotlight heads rotates and tilts on its mounting point, allowing you to direct light to different areas of a kitchen island, dining table or workspace without moving the entire fitting.
What drop height is recommended?
For kitchen islands and dining tables the Emberfield typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The suspension cables are adjustable during installation to set the exact drop distance.
