Description

The Emberfield is a 4-light suspension spotlight fitting four adjustable brass cylinder heads onto a 760mm matt black horizontal bar. Each head houses a GU10 bulb (sold separately) and rotates independently on its mount, allowing light to be directed across a kitchen island, dining table or workspace. The bar suspends from a black ceiling rose on a height-adjustable cable.

Designed for kitchen islands, home offices and dining areas where task lighting needs to be directed rather than diffused, the Emberfield places each spotlight on a horizontal rail rather than grouping them in a cluster. This 760mm span suits worktops and tables from 1200-1800mm in length, with each brass head capable of being angled towards a chopping area, hob, sink or dining position as needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The combination of matt black bar and brass spotlight heads gives the fitting a two-tone industrial character that pairs with both warm brass-accented interiors and darker matte-finish kitchen schemes. The brass cylinder heads measure approximately 55mm in diameter and 105mm in height, housing the GU10 bulb recess inside. The fitting is compatible with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted from bright task lighting to softer ambient levels in the evening.

The suspension cable is adjustable on installation, so the bar can be positioned 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height and the amount of direct light required. The fitting carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty from Ideal Lux.

Can the spotlight heads be adjusted after installation?

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor settings where moisture is present.
