Description

The Emberara is a 24 light crystal chandelier built on a chrome frame with cascading tiers of cut crystal droplets arranged in a traditional empire silhouette. The fitting measures 800mm in diameter and 1050mm in drop, with 24 E14 bulb positions distributed across three tiers that increase in density towards the base. Each crystal element refracts light from the bulbs, creating scatter patterns across walls and ceilings when lit.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, dining rooms with 3m+ ceiling heights, and large living spaces where a substantial centrepiece is needed, the Emberara requires at least 2.8m floor-to-ceiling clearance to accommodate the full drop plus safe headroom. The chrome frame provides a cooler metallic tone that pairs with both traditional interiors featuring darker wood furniture and contemporary spaces with grey or white palettes. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different times of day.

The chrome finish is polished to a mirror-like reflective surface that amplifies the crystal's light scatter and contrasts with the clear transparency of the glass elements. At 800mm wide the chandelier suits rooms of 20-30m² floor area without dominating smaller adjacent spaces, while the 1050mm drop means it reads as a vertical statement piece rather than a wide horizontal spread. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only. Bulbs are sold separately — 24 x E14 candle or golf ball bulbs at 4-6W LED each provide sufficient brightness without heat build-up.

Frequently Asked

Is the Emberara dimmable?

Yes, the chandelier is dimmable when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1050mm drop requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.8m to provide safe headroom clearance below the chandelier. Rooms with 3m+ ceilings allow the fitting to hang at a more proportionate height for dining or hallway installation.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes 24 x E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Candle or golf ball shaped LED bulbs at 4-6W each and 2700K-3000K colour temperature are typical choices. Total load across all 24 bulbs should not exceed 240W.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the chandelier is suitable for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or any space with moisture or steam exposure.
