Some clusters need one tidy circle to work from, and that is the job here. This is a round canopy plate, 62cm across and very shallow in depth, with five openings spaced around it so a group of suspensions reads as one arrangement rather than a scattered row. It is a non-electric part rather than a light in its own right, carrying no lamps and no switching. The finish is black all over, so dark flexes read quietly against it and the disc keeps a calm outline overhead.

We use a round canopy where a room is open on all sides: over a circular dining table, in a stairwell seen from below, above a kitchen island, or in a hall with height to play with. Because each pendant keeps its own drop, heights can be staggered while the whole group still gathers at one point.
